About
We believe sovereign AI for regulated industries is not a nice-to-have — it is a technical and political necessity. That belief led to founding the company in 2025.
nalune was founded in 2025 because in consulting and engineering engagements we kept seeing the same pattern: organizations wanted to use AI but were not allowed to send their data to external LLM APIs. The available platforms were either "just wrappers around OpenAI" or so large that compliance reality was not represented.
Instead of building another wrapper platform, we took the opposite path: a control plane that runs locally by default, our own evidence engine (friday.) for structured claims with trust levels, and a flow model that makes every transaction auditable. friday. is not bought-in — we build it ourselves and run active research on it.
Today we operate the platform for customers in regulated industries, build vertical products with software partners (Studios) and consult where clarification matters more than co-building (Consulting). The team is deliberately small — we prefer depth over market pressure.
nalune is built by two founders who combine technological depth, commercial responsibility and operational execution.
